South Korea's President Yoon Suk Yeol has been impeached after Parliament voted for second time to remove him for suddenly imposing martial law. Yeol had survived the previous impeachment vote organised by Opposition parties after his party boycotted the vote. His impeachment came after his party's leader withdrew support and said Yeol's impeachment was "only way...to defend democracy".
