Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said India should be branded as a "responsible capitalist country". "We didn't follow circular economy's principle of reuse because we were in poverty, we thought of it as our responsibility to use as per our need and not as per our greed," she stated. "We understand that capitalism also has its limitations," she added.
