After Congress called for a ban on RSS, Baba Ramdev said "anti-national" and "anti-Sanatan forces" had hidden, selfish motives against the organisation. He said RSS, like Arya Samaj is a "nationalist organisation which had great men such as Dr Hedgewar and Sadashivrao Golwalkar." His remarks came after Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge demanded to ban RSS citing law and order issues.
