An investigation by the Hyderabad Police has revealed that Telangana's Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) tapped the phones of 600 people between November 16 and November 30, 2023, the day the Assembly elections were held in the state, The Indian Express reported. Most of those surveilled during BRS's rule, led by CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, reportedly belonged to the opposition.
