Canada on Wednesday announced retaliatory tariffs on nearly $20.7 billion worth of US goods after US' 25% tariff on steel and aluminium came into effect. Trump's increased tariffs on steel and aluminium imports took effect on Wednesday as prior exemptions, duty-free quotas, and product exclusions expired. Canada is the largest foreign supplier of steel and aluminium to the United States.
