ISKCON Kolkata Vice President Radharamn Das has asked the body's monks in Bangladesh to avoid standing out as monks amid multiple cases of attacks on monks. "I have suggested they avoid wearing saffron clothes and vermilion [tilak] on their foreheads...They should wear [saffron strings] in a manner that remains hidden," Das said. "They should also cover their heads," he added.
