A 20-year-old youth drowned in a river while trying to catch his slipper floating on the gushing waters in MP's Seoni. The victim's body was recovered on Sunday. He had gone with friends for a picnic when his slipper fell into the river. He tried to catch it with a stick, but his leg slipped and he was swept away.
