A woman and her daughter, aged 60 and 29, were allegedly assaulted and their clothes were torn by neighbours on suspicion of prostitution in Karnataka's Belagavi. Several members of a neighbouring family, including women, allegedly forced their way into their house. On the other hand, the neighbours claimed that the victims' indulged in prostitution and several strangers visited their house.
