Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled Shrimant Bajirao Peshwa I's statue at the National Defence Academy in Pune, emphasising his unmatched military achievements. The 13.5-foot-tall bronze statue was donated by the Shreemath Thorle Bajirao Peshwa Pratishthan. Shah stated, "No military commander in the world can match the record of Bajirao Peshwa, who fought and won 41 battles in just 20 years."
