BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for skipping the oath-taking ceremony of India’s 53rd CJI, Justice Surya Kant. Taking a jibe, he said Rahul might be on a "jungle safari" or "foreign tour". He added that Congress had also boycotted Republic Day and Independence Day events, accusing the party of placing “Khandaan above Sanvidhan.”
