HCLTech has lowered its fresher hiring target for FY25 from 10,000 to 7,000 citing a lower attrition rate and improved productivity. The company's Chief People Officer Ramachandran Sundararajan said HCLTech has hired about 6,000 freshers so far this fiscal and will add another 1,000 in Q4. "We are increasingly prioritising specialisation in hiring," he stated.
