Sonakshi Sinha revealed she wasn't "inclined towards acting". She recalled, "Salman [Khan] used to say, 'Don't waste your time. You should become an actor.'" After Sinha's college and weight loss, Arbaaz [Khan] went to her house and narrated ['Dabangg'] to her parents. She added, "Nobody asked me whether I wanted to do this, next thing I know I'm on set."
