The Enforcement Directorate has alerted the Tamil Nadu police about an alleged cash-for-jobs scam in the state’s Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MAWS) Department. Around 150 candidates who paid bribes were selected by manipulating the selection process, according to ED. The appointment orders were handed over to the candidates by CM MK Stalin in August.
