External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said there was a 40-year period where the West "primarily" armed Pakistan and India turned to Soviet Union as a military partner. "As Russia today turns more towards Asia...for us there are certain economic complementarities which come to fore," Jaishankar said. "It's a multipolar world," he said on India's growing relationship with US and Europe.
