A 17-year-old cricketer from Melbourne is fighting for his life after being struck on the head by a ball during warm-up at Walley Tew Reserve in Ferntree Gully. The teenager, who collapsed on the field, was wearing a helmet at the time. He was facing throw-downs when the ball hit him and was rushed to Monash Medical Centre.
