Joint Parliamentary Committee Chairman Jagdambika Pal on Friday alleged that TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee used unparliamentary words and abused him during the meeting on the Waqf Bill. "I feel Banerjee did this deliberately," he added. Later, Pal suspended Banerjee along with a few other opposition members. The suspended members protested alleging that Jagdambika Pal rushed through the proceedings.
