Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced Mumbai's suburban trains will be upgraded to fully air-conditioned coaches without any increase in passenger fares. Fadnavis said the state had requested Centre to provide metro-style AC coaches and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will soon visit Mumbai to make official announcement. He assured new AC coaches will be newly built.
