Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced new tax slabs while presenting Budget 2025-26. Those earning up to ₹12 lakh will save entire tax amount of around ₹80,000, while those earning ₹18 lakh will pay ₹70,000 less tax than they're currently paying under new tax regime. Those earning ₹20 lakh and ₹25 lakh will pay ₹90,000 and ₹1,10,000 less, respectively.
