India announced a $680 million (over ₹6,000 crore) special economic package for Mauritius. The countries also signed seven agreements to boost cooperation in areas of education, power, hydrography, and space research. This comes amid Mauritius PM Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam's eight-day visit to India. Under the special economic package, India will assist Mauritius implement at least 10 projects.
