Maharashtra CM-designate Devendra Fadnavis got caretaker CM Eknath Shinde to accept second-highest role of Deputy CM in new state government within 20 minutes, News18 reported. Fadnavis convinced Shinde to join state Cabinet by assuring fair distribution of key portfolios, including Home Department, Energy and MSRDC, the report said. Shinde hasn't confirmed or denied reports of his Deputy role.
