Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge criticised Biocon head Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw after she said that an overseas business visitor asked her why "Bengaluru roads were bad and there was garbage around". Kharge responded by saying that he's not sure "which part of Bengaluru they have seen". "We're growing at rapid pace, and whatever's necessary for infrastructure improvement, we're doing it," he added.
