A woman tried to steal jewellery from a shop in Gujarat's Ahmedabad by throwing chilli powder at the shopkeeper. The CCTV footage shows the man foiling her attempt and slapping the woman at least 17 times in about 20 seconds. "The shopkeeper has refused to file a complaint, but we have started investigating the woman," police said.
