The joint India-US NISAR satellite has entered full science operations after months of post-launch testing. It has deployed a twelve-metre radar antenna successfully with both L-band and S-band radars fully active. NISAR will now deliver continuous, high-precision global Earth-monitoring data to advance climate research, track natural resources, and strengthen disaster preparedness and response.
