A week into India’s revised GST regime, less than 30% consumers reported receiving the benefits of lower rates on items like packaged food products and medicines, LocalCircles survey revealed. Seven in 10 consumers purchasing a vehicle confirmed receiving full benefits of the reduced tax. One out of 10 buyers agreed to receive full benefits on medicines in the first week.
