An audit in 2014 found that the password for Louvre museum's video surveillance system was 'Louvre', French newspaper Libération has revealed. The museum was using the password 'Thales' to access a software developed by Thales Group. Jewels worth around ₹900 crore, including an emerald and diamond necklace that Napoleon I gave to his second wife, were stolen from the museum.
