Deepam Seth, a 1995-batch IPS officer, has been appointed as new DGP of Uttarakhand. Seth is currently serving as Additional DG of Sashastra Seema Bal and is replacing Abhinav Kumar, a 1996-batch IPS officer, who has been holding the additional charge of DGP. Seth served as Senior SP and Additional SP in Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddh Nagar in undivided UP.
