Tesla shareholders voted against a proposal for the board to invest in Elon Musk's AI startup, xAI, Bloomberg reported. The non-binding measure received over 1 billion votes in favour, but was defeated due to 916 million that were against and 473 million abstentions counted as "no" votes. Musk has been publicly supportive of Tesla investing a potential $5-billion into xAI.
