A 40-year-old lawyer, accused of assaulting a gangrape survivor, fractured his leg while trying to escape arrest by jumping from rooftop of a neighbour's house, police said. The lawyer reportedly represented one of the accused in survivor’s sexual assault case in 2022. He invited the woman, who was in Agra for court hearing, on the pretext of discussing a settlement.
