India's 18-year-old Grandmaster Gukesh D called his mother after winning the World Chess Championship 2024 in Singapore and broke down. A video showing Gukesh breaking down has gone viral on social media. Gukesh also hugged his father after coming out of the playing hall. His father Dr Rajinikanth was with him throughout the 14-game World Chess Championship.
