"Narrative that Mehli Mistry-led group of trustees on Board of Tata Trusts attempted a coup is absurd," life trustee Darius J Khambata said. Khambata referred to events of September, when majority of trustees, including himself, didn't support reappointment of Trusts Vice-Chairman Vijay Singh to Tata Sons board. He added that no one had any intention of carrying out such act.
