Reacting to the disappearance of a Sikh woman from the Indian pilgrims' jatha in Pakistan on November 13, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee said "such an action during a pilgrimage is condemnable". General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Grewal said they learned of it through media. A purported nikahnama claimed the woman, Sarabjeet Kaur, converted to Islam and married a Pakistani resident.
