Demand for air purifiers has jumped up to 20 times, particularly in the Delhi-NCR area, amid worsening air pollution, Moneycontrol reported. Other major cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru are also seeing strong demand. Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) remained in the 'poor' category on Monday, while Mumbai's AQI improved to 'moderate' category.
