The lawyers representing Hasin Jahan, the ex-wife of cricketer Mohammed Shami, told the Supreme Court that the latter's net worth is ₹500 crore. Jahan has filed a plea seeking ₹10 lakh monthly maintenance, ₹6 lakh more than the maintenance awarded to her by the Calcutta HC. "There exists a stark financial disparity between the parties," her lawyers said.
