A day before his swearing-in ceremony, US President-elect Donald Trump urged companies to not let TikTok "go dark" after the Supreme Court upheld a law requiring ByteDance to sell the app or face a ban on Sunday. Adding that companies won't face any liability, he said, "I'll issue an executive order on Monday to extend the period...before...law's prohibitions take effect."
