Indian-origin Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy called the murder of an Indian man named Chandra Nagamallaiah in the US "horrific", stating it's "time for the rule of law". Vivek stated, "The murderer’s violent criminal history was so bad that Cuba refused to accept him," adding, "The fact that this isn’t a bigger story shows how numb we’ve become to preventable violence."
