Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu took to X to announce that the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test has been postponed amid state-wide mourning for late singer Zubeen Garg. Pegu wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "FLNAT, originally scheduled for 21st September, 2025, has been postponed...[it'll] be conducted on 12th October, 2025, with 4,70,000 adult learners appearing for the test."
