External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday took a jibe at Western countries, stating, "Principles are applied selectively and what is preached is not necessarily practised." Jaishankar said the world was witnessing "complicated times" marked by shrinking supply chains and intense competition for resources and technology. He made these remarks at the 20th East Asia Summit in Kuala Lumpur.
