Wing Commander Namansh Syal's father, Jagan Nath Syal, said the country has lost an ace pilot. "I have lost a young son…He never had a dull moment in his life," he added. Wing Commander Syal was laid to rest with full military honours in his native village in Kangra on Sunday. He died after a fighter jet crashed in Dubai.
