US announced that it'll be reimposing sanctions on Iran's Chabahar port, which India operates, from September 29. The reimposed sanctions on the port, which is part of India's plan to bypass Pakistan and reach Afghanistan and Central Asia, expose Indian entities to possible financial and legal penalties. They also create new uncertainty for one of India's most strategically important projects.
