Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on Wednesday announced new water policy 'One Zone, One Operator' dividing Delhi into eight water zones, each to be managed by private operators. Operators will handle supply, billing, and repairs, while DJB oversees sourcing and quality. The model, starting with Wazirabad, aims to cut 50% water loss and improve 24/7 supply for over 3 million residents.
