Sundrop oil maker Agro Tech Foods will acquire sauce maker Del Monte Foods in a ₹1,300 crore share swap deal. Under the agreement, Agro Tech will issue 1.33 crore shares to Bharti Enterprises and Del Monte Pacific, the current owners of Del Monte Foods. Bharti Enterprises will become the second largest shareholder in Agro Tech after the deal is completed.
