The Tamil Nadu government provided ₹3 lakh each to the families of those killed in the Sivaganga bus accident. Ministers Sivasankar and KR Periya Karuppan visited the injured at Sivagangai Government Medical College Hospital and paid respects to the deceased. At least 11 people died, and 20 others got injured after two government buses collided head-on on Sunday evening.
