Actress Jaya Bachchan, when asked if the institution of marriage is outdated, said "yes", adding that she doesn't want her granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, to get married. "I'm a grandmother now...Navya turns 28 in a few days. I'm too old to advise young girls on how to bring up children," she said. She was speaking at an event in Mumbai.
