Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the respect shown to Ram Mandir workers under BJP government, contrasting it with the fate of Taj Mahal builders. "PM was raining flowers on them, but..the workers who constructed the Mahal had their hands chopped off," he said referring to the popular myth. There are, however, no historical records to prove the claim yet.
