Elon Musk called the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) a "criminal organisation" and said it is "time for it to die". He remarked in response to a post that claimed USAID senior officials were put on leave for trying to stop Musk's DOGE from accessing the agency's systems. DOGE is tasked to cut government spending.
