The Maharashtra FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) has banned the sale, distribution and use of 'Coldrif' cough syrup that led to the deaths of at least 11 children in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The order urged anyone having the syrup to report it to the local Drug Control Authorities. 'Coldrif' is manufactured by a Tamil Nadu firm.
