The Pune Municipal Corporation has seized illegal water connections and electric pumps in Pune's Viman Nagar to curb water misuse. Indrabhan Randive, superintendent engineer, stated that they are monitoring areas with illegal connections and will remove pumps and impose penalties. According to engineer Rohan Kapse, the department seized 20 electric pumps after complaints of low water pressure.
