The death toll due to the 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar has breached 1,700, according to the country’s ruling junta. About 3,400 people are injured and Red Cross said the devastation is the worst seen in Asia in more than 100 years. Separately, at least 76 construction workers are reportedly still missing following collapse of an unfinished skyscraper in Bangkok.
