KL Rahul is captaining India in ODI series against South Africa instead of Rishabh Pant in the absence of Shubman Gill. A BCCI official had revealed that Pant was not considered as he has played only one ODI match in the last one year. The official also clarified that Rahul's captaincy is one-off arrangement and should be viewed in isolation.
