A total of four members linked to the gang of Lawrence Bishnoi were arrested in Punjab on Wednesday and seven pistols and 70 live cartridges were seized from them. The accused, who were hiding in a house, opened fire at the police during the cordon-and-search operation. In retaliatory firing, two members of the gang sustained bullet injuries.
